5. What if I don’t get refresher education?
Refresher education is a renewal process for maintaining qualifications, so there will be disadvantages if you do not complete it regardless of reasons, whether you intentionally fail to complete it or forget it due to negligence. For the first violation, a warning and for the second violation, an administrative disposition of suspension of qualifications for 7 days.

Continuing education for nursing assistants includes Article 80, Paragraph 1 (National Examination and Qualification Recognition of Nursing Assistants) and Paragraph 2 (Designation and Evaluation of Training Institutes for Nursing Assistants) and Article 4 (Qualification Report and Refresher Training for Nursing Assistants) and Article 80 of the Medical Act. Continuing education must be completed in accordance with the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

II. Exemption and suspension of continuing education for nursing assistants
Exemption means that you do not have to receive continuing education at all, and probation is the concept of postponement. If you fall under the conditions for exemption or postponement, you can apply after submitting supporting documents through the Qualification Report Center of the Korean Nursing Assistants Association.
