The first-class home appliance subsidy is a project that provides subsidies of up to KRW 300,000 when purchasing high-efficiency home appliances.
In the meantime, the 1th grade home appliance support has been operated only with the budget of kepco, but from 2023, it started to operate with the government budget.
Therefore, for those who purchased energy efficiency class 1 home appliances after January 1, 2023, refunds will be paid in order after the government budget is allocated.
We receive applications every year, but if the budget is exhausted, it may close early, so please check the target and apply before it is too late.

As of 2023, in order to qualify for a refund, home appliances must meet the energy consumption efficiency rating requirements, and the recipients must also meet certain conditions.

Target home appliance conditions
All home appliances used in the home can be targeted. If you purchase the target products, you can receive a subsidy, so please apply.
Energy efficiency ratings can be checked through rating labels attached to home appliances. Sometimes, there are people who can’t find it or can’t find it. In that case, you can search online to see if your home appliance is eligible for support.

Searching for home appliance refund subsidy recipients
Not all appliances with Grade 1 energy efficiency are eligible for subsidies. It must meet the conditions for each household.
As of 2023, if you meet the criteria below, you will be able to pay the support, and you can also view the target on the page that is guided, so please refer to it.

In 2023, the three types of households with multiple children, large families, and maternity households will no longer be able to apply for additional applications when the budget of about 7 billion won allocated for 23 years is exhausted.
Also, please note that the support rate for purchases made after January 1, 2023 has been raised to 20% for the six types of persons with disabilities, meritorious persons, basic livelihood recipients, social welfare facilities, the next upper class, and life support devices.
