3. Eligibility for exemption from new training for general security guards
② If a security contractor hires a person who falls under any of the following subparagraphs as a general security guard in accordance with the proviso to Article 13, Paragraph 1 of the Act, the general security guard may be excluded from the training for new general security guards.
1. A person who has received training as a general security guard or special security guard pursuant to the main sentence of Article 13 (1) of the Act and paragraph (3) of the same Article and has experience in security work within 3 years prior to hiring
2. A person who has worked as a police officer under the 「Police Officials Act」
3. A person who has worked as a security official or a public official in special service under the Act on the Protection of the President, etc.
4. A person who has worked as a noncommissioned officer or higher under the Military Personnel Act
5. A person who is qualified as a guard instructor
6. A person who has not passed 3 years of training as a new general security guard in accordance with Article 13, Paragraph 2 of the Act at the time of hiring

4. Training hours and subjects for new general guards

(2) The Commissioner General of the National Police Agency shall establish an annual training plan for the implementation of new training for general security guards, and ensure that the training institute or organization for training new general guards under Article 18 (1) of the Decree conducts training according to the training plan.

7. Grounds for disqualification of security guards

② A person who falls under any of the following subparagraphs may not become a special security guard.
1. A person under the age of 18 or over the age of 60, a person under adult guardianship, or a person under limited guardianship
2. A person who falls under any of paragraph (1) 2 through 8
3. A person who has been sentenced to imprisonment or heavier punishment and is in the grace period
4. A person who does not meet the physical conditions prescribed by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security
③ Security contractors shall not hire or employ persons who fall under any disqualification in each subparagraph of paragraph (1) or subparagraphs of paragraph (2) as security instructors or security guards.

① Security guards shall not perform acts outside the scope of security duties, such as showing off power or exercising physical force to others in performing their duties.
